Blog post #11 4/6/2017

1. Which event that you learned about from the Church History textbook presentations did you find most interesting and why?
- The most thing that interested me is the missionary of church. At the beginning, I think the missionary of church just talk about Jesus and read some bible to reinforcement your beliefs. However, the definition from the book is to share the words of god to people who have not heard about God. Helping people who know the words of God to respond in faith. To be missionaries has the request, it is not everyone could be missionaries. For the missionaries, it must have courage to talk with people, the true faith of god and willing to contribute for God.

2. Which person whom you learned about from the Church History textbook presentations did you find most interesting and why?
- For the most interesting person that I am interested in is Martin Luther. Martin Luther is a great man who changed Christian forever. In 16 century he began to reformat the protestant. In 1517, Pope Leo X announced a new round of indulgences to help build Basilica. And then Martin Luther nailed the sheet of 95 theses on the door of the church which is a critique of the indulgences as a corruption of the faith of God ( Martin Luther Biography).

3. If you end up being known as an influential figure in history, what do you want to be remembered for?
- If I end up being known as an influential figure in history, I would like to be remembered for Esther is helping a lot of people, and let more people trust in god. I also want some to write me that Esther has some miracle things that god happened on myself and then let more people trust and believe god. I also want to be remembered that I am a nice person and good swimmer. Esther also does a lot of volunteers to help other poor and disabilities.

4. How have you personally experienced growth (either mentally, emotionally or spiritually) after your own challenges in life?
- After my own challenges, I grow a lot. For example, Before I came to America, I can do nothing, I cannot cook by myself and be independence. However, I came to America and Notre Dame I learned a lot. I know how to apply a school and do some VISA kinds of stuff. I know how to take care of myself without my parents. And those are physical things. I also have some mentally and emotionally things that were encouraged. After came to America without parent and friends, I feel alone at the beginning, but during this time I learned how to control my emotion and feeling.
