- what's the beatitude?
Beatitude can separate into two different words which are " be" and " attitude". it was blessed are... for example "blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heave" In this example the poor in spirit is meaning of lacking of the faith of God, lacking the moral of life or some people who feels afraid. They need us to listen and to talk. We should encourage them and tell them some truth of god. Be nice. The beatitude is things that you should do and rules for happiness.

- Which beatitude resonates with you the most?
" Bless are the pure of heart fir they shall see god." This beatitude resonates with me the most because for the the pure of heart which means you should not do those things which god did not like you to do. The heart that fall of nice, kindness, forgiveness and faithful. Why God love the children most even though they already have the sins? Because every newborn child has the pure heart, they don't know what's the right things or wrong things, they don't know what's lie means, they not only can not hurt anyone but also can make people happy. Why the symbol of angel are children? because their heart are pure so they can be with god.

-  What did you learn about yourself during the activity?
I reflected myself during this activity. I discovered my lacks and also discovered my advantages. Sometimes I am not nice to people because of their words, for those things I should forgive them and give them second chances. However, a lot of times I am nice to everyone then everyone nice to me.

-  How can you display the beatitudes more in your life?
I will be more nice than before, open the arms to everyone, and forgive some people who did bad things to me. If the justice are not right I need to fight with it.  I need to follow the truth roads that god created not follow the road that people created. Sometimes people's words are wrong, then we need to find the truth and pray for god to guide us. God is the truth road. After all of those I think I need to do some nice things to help some one like comfort them or encourage them because I want to spread the love of Jesus to everyone. God ask us to be nice and love every as God love you.

1. What specific thing that you learn about God the Father?
God is our father he has the power to protect, care about and love us. He is unique God. He created the everything that we need. He act as a father to open arms to us which means welcome home. He always looked us in the heaven. Here is a scripture about our god of father “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?  And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.  In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.”  –Matthew 18:12-14  This scripture explained how God, our father, care about his sons and daughters, he would not abandon any his children even some one them are  thief, killer or bagger because there is no bad people in the heaven. God love us, he will share the same love to us.

2. What specific thing that you learn about God the son?
God the son is Jesus, he always sit right side of God our father. He acts as a leader who lead us to find the truth of God our father, and a teacher who teach us how to do the right men and be loved of God our father. He has positive attitude, he never failed, he never faired. He also is a slave of god who acts as the connection between god and us. Here is a scripture that about how Jesus loved us "But he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him,and by his wounds we are healed." -Isaiah 53:5 from this scripture it explained how jesus loved us. He want to sacrificed himself to protect and refreshing our sins. How great he is!

3. What specific thing that you learn about the Holy Spirit?
The Holy spirt is the path that guided us to the truth, it is a dove to bring peace to us. It gives us the knowledge, it gives us the brain. You can see it but you can feel it. Here is the bible verses that talks bout the holy spirit, " “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.  And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”-Romans 8:26-27 From this scripture it talks bout what is holy spirit which can lead us to pray to talk with god. It like a pure water to refreshing our sins.

4. Have you ever experienced the Holy Spirit before? If yes, how so? If no, how do you think you (or someone in general) would go about experiencing the Holy Spirit?
Yes, I experienced the holy spirit before. Sometimes I lie to my parent and be ruled with them I will feel guilt for them and then I will apologizes to them. For this I think that holy spirit guide me to say sorry and be the girl that god likes. Sometimes I don't have brave to do some bad things like cheating because I know God is watching me, even though there is no one knows. In anyways I think the holy spirit will bring peace and guided you to right paths.

Blog post #5 Parables

In our group we talk about the parable of the sower in which God spread the seeds to the different places, and every seeds represented the different believers. The seeds and plants represented many type of people. Some people have no idea about the Gospel is about and choose not to listen. Some people listen with great enthusiasm of the word, but are easily dissuaded of their brief. Other people hear the world, but unfaithful when their brief is questioned. And only last one which land on the soil ground fully understand the words of what god says and act the same thing as what god says. Everyone can hear the words of God, but they can choose whether they listen, act or not listen and not act as the what the god says. It depends on people's heat.

In other parables, I learned a lot from them. For the first one it talks about the parable of the sons. Here is a father who was very love his sons, but his sons get all of the money and run away. After few days, the younger son came back and return the money to his father and ask his father for forgiveness, then his father forgive him, however, the oldest brother does not want to ask for forgiveness. For this story of the first parable. I learned that If you do something wrong do not afraid to ask forgiveness because god love everybody, he loves everyone. God is our father and his kingdom is our family. You can back to your family every time, and they will welcome you as god forgive you.
For the Second, The Laborers in the Vineyard. It talks about the landowner pay the money for every workers. Some workers' work time are longer than others, but the money which the landowner paid is same. Form the story I leaned that God's love are equal, no matter what are you done, he will do the same for us.
For the third, The Rich Man and Lazarus, It talks about after the rich man died, he is not good as the lazarus because the rich man's moral are worst than lazarus.

I think the second one is more impact me. In my opinion, God loves the world, everyone's love which from the god are same, not too much, everyone is not the same grace, but this does not mean that God's love for everyone is different. God is not bias someone who are very good and awesome.

If Jesus was in our society today. I think more people will believe in God because Jesus will show his strength in visual.

The Four Gospel writers


1.  What are specific things that you learned about the Gospel Writers from the group presentations?
- There are four Gospel writers who are Mark, Matthew, Luke and John. The first one is Mark, the second is Matthew, the third one is Luck and the last one is John.
- For Mark, He wrote in 70 AD. He is writing for people who are on the disciple of Jesus. The symbol of Mark was The Winged lion. The original language of his book is greek.
- For Matthew, He wrote his book between AD 80- 90.  The Gospel of Matthew is anonymous: the author is not named within the text. The original language of his book is Greek. And the symbol of Matthew is Winged Man.
- For Luke, He is the third gospel writer. He wrote between 80-100 AD. It tells the original, birth, death, ministry, recurrent, and ascension of Jesus. The symbol of him is Winged Ox.
- For John, He is the last gospel writer,  The Gospel of John is anonymous, its author only identified as "the Disciple whom Jesus loved." The symbol of him is Eagle.

2. When reading and comparing, what are specific differences that you see in the 4 Gospels?
- There are four Gospel writers, the first one is Mark, the second is Matthew, the third one is Luck and the last one is John. They all write the Crucifixion, The death of Jesus, and The Burial of Jesus. The first of three record the facts of Jesus, they are most similar, some words are used same in their book. So they are called synoptic Gospel. However John are different form them, he records the spiritual of jesus.
-Different between those 4 gospel for their writing, Mark 15;22-47, Matthew 27; 33-66, Luke 23; 33-56, John 19; 17-42.  In John's writing, he does not mention the the darkness in the middle of the day. but Matthew, Luke, and Mark all state that.

3. When reading and comparing, what are specific similarities that you see in the 4 Gospels?

- There are some different, and also some similar. The four Gospel writers all record the same things about Jesus, the Crucifixion, The death of Jesus, and the Burial of Jesus. Their events are same. And for the first three writers, they used some same words to describe. For example, In the Death of Jesus, they all said; " Eli, Eli, Lema Sabachthani" which means, " My God my God, why have you forsaken me?" And In The Crucifixion all of them mentioned the place called Golgotha ( Which means Place of the Skull)
- Their writes are all about Jesus's events.

4. How does each writer portray Jesus in their Gospel?

- In Matthew, He portray Jesus as the king. He most write some events about Jesus and show how Jesus's great. His purpose was to demonstrate who Jesus was and show how Jesus is great through some events. For example he writes the 27; 33-66. In his writing he just states the story of how jesus died and how he says to his disciples that after three days he will rise up. 

- In Mark's writing, He portray Jesus as a servant of god. 

- In Luke's writing, Luke portray Jesus as a son of men. 

- In John's writing,  He wrote to the church describing how Jesus felt about peoples’ reaction to His ministry.

What are new things that learned about Jesus ( be specific)
- Joseph Arimathea
We learned about one of Jesus disciple Joseph, he was not the one of the 12 disciples, but he did the very good job for Jesus. When Jesus was been crucified on the cross, he prepared the tomb, bring the body of jesus back and buried him. Why chose Joseph? because he was very loyal to jesus and was always around jesus. Jesus was died for everybody.

How does what you have learned from the Bible archaeology change or form your view of Jesus as you thought you knew him?
- At the beginning I don't know who buried jesus, I just know Marry find the body of Jesus was disappeared. And I thought there are a lot of Jesus disciples to buried him, but I am wrong, there only Joseph to prepare the tomb and buried him. Joseph was not the 12 disciples of Jesus, he just a one of thousands disciples.

What do you still want to know about Jesus?

- When I was young my parents told me Jesus is our god who create us and give us the life. At the beginning my believe was very strong but following the age's growth, I have some confused. I confused about Jesus, confused about the world and confused about is there a god to protect me? I pray and go to church, but god was not response. So i think when I have some confusions I need to pray and read the bible which I can through the words to know god, to know jesus. I still want to know about Jesus, why he want to sacrificed himself to save us? does he afraid when he will die? Does he know there are someone will betray him? If he knows that why he will keep the love heart to tolerant them?  

Who are two people in your life who display similar characteristics as Jesus and why?

- I think my father and my mother in my life who display similar characteristics as Jesus. There are some reasons.

                       - For jesus the god of our father, he was trinity true god, he indirectly gives our birth and life. And my mother and father directly  give the birth for me. 

                       - Jesus loved his children as my parents loved me. He can sacrificed himself for us as my parent protect me threw caution to the wind. 

                       - Jesus give his children some advises and guide them to walk on the true and safety road, like my parents, they don't want me to suffer some bad things, and then they guid me like Jesus guid his children.

                       - My parents forgive me like Jesus tolerant his children even if they did some very bad things.

What are my thought about Jesus?
- I thought Jesus is the creator who create the whole world and bring the life of us. He was our father who protected us every times, When you feel fear you can pray to the god, and god will guide you. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff comfort me. --Psalm 23: 5.

- He was love, hope and truth. Jesus sacrificed himself to save us. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. In Genesis 8:1, it says, "God remembered Noah and all the animals, wild and tame, that were with him in the ark. So God made a wind sweep over the earth, and the waters began to subside. "

How do I know him?
- We can read the bible to know the sentences that Jesus told us. Know him from the bible. For example, He told us to be encourage and do not fear anything expect him, because he will be with you. "You set a table before me in front of my enemies;You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Indeed, goodness and mercy will pursue me,all the days of my life, I will dwell in the house of the lord, for endless days. "( Psalm 23: 3-6) He is powerful, tolerant, and graceful. From this bible verse, we can know, God loved us,  he want to be with us, and protect us. 

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." ( John 3) From this verses, we know lord love every one, even sacrificed his only child to save all of us. 

What have I heard about him?
- In my family, they are all christians. So i am growing in christians. When i was young, i just know him. My parents always talk about Jesus and the love of jesus. And there is the bible verses I remembered very clearly that “But as for me and my household,we shall serve Jehovah." ( Joshua 24)

What do I believed him?
- He was a saver who can bring us out off death and give us the unlimited lives. He was resurrection and life. He can revive after he dead. He has the superpower in his hand.
