2.What did you notice about the topics that Pope Francis has written about so far? What do these say about him as a pope?
- Pope Francis was written about some topics which are abortion, climate change, and guns problem. So for these topics, they are all the issues we are facing right now. For abortion, this was written in the bible that god does not like people to kill others. Abortion is the thing that violates the wishes of god. Climate change was a very important and serious problem that we are facing right now. For these topics that Pope Francis has written about say about Pope Francis is lead us towards what god want us to be. His actions and words are spoken from god. He was very god and devotional pope because he knows and understands what god talks about.

3.What are different changes that Pope Francis is making to the way popes usually do things?
- There are some changes made by pope Francis. Pope Francis is the first Pope to wash other people's feet. Before Pope Francis was elected, other Pope only washed those given people's feet. However, Pope Francis not only washed the given people's feet but also washed other people's feet who from different countries and different religious because he believed that God loves everyone no matter poor or rich so that he wants to act as God says. Pope Francis also claims that science is existent, but other old popes never state that because they think Science and religious are the opposite things.

4. What hopes do you have for the present day Catholic Church?
- I have the hope for the present day Catholic Church because of Pope Francis. He was the great Pope. He acts as God did and said. He also thinks everything was connected, so he is brave to claim that science and church were related. He can lay down his noble body to wash other's feet just like Jesus. He told people to be mercy, hope, peace and joy. His teaching and actions will influence people. I think I will see the love, hope and new things in the catholic church

Blog post # 12 5/4/2017

1. What did you find interesting about the history of the Sisters of Notre Dame?
- For one of the ladies who is very old, she said a long time ago, the second floor of Notre Dame is boarder room for those boarder students. In that time there is only one male teacher and rest of students and teachers either nuns or not. She also said her basketball coach was a nun. In that time, there are few of students.

2. What is something that you heard from the Alumnae Panel that stuck with you and why?
-  Two of those ladies said, they are working with their teachers as a workmate, which is weird. Imagine that when you 16 years old, your teachers who teach your history and English will be your workmate after 10 or more years later. A lot of the Alumnae Panel are working in Notre Dame some of them were classmate before. I stuck by the relationship between friends and friends, teachers and teachers,  teachers and students. I also stuck by years that teachers worked.

3. What does it mean to you to be a part of the Notre Dame Community?
- I will be proud to be a part of the Notre Dame community. Notre Dame has the long and great history, the past memory is glory for me. If I am a part of the Notre Dame Community, I will also have those special memories and special friendships. If I am a part of the Notre Dame Community, I will be pride because I used to study in the building which full of history and memories, I will appreciate that time with my teacher and classmate.

4. When you leave Notre Dame High School, what do you think are some values that will stay with you?
- When I leave Notre dame high school, I will cry because there is a lot of great memories happened in this place, it has the happy time and also the sad time. After I leave, there are something that will with me. The experiences from Notre Dame, for example, Cabin leader which is to be a leader in outdoor education, and many projects, retreat and trips with school. I also learned how to be patient, and be a nice leader in Notre Dame. These experience and knowledge will stay with me forever.

1. Which event that you learned about from the Church History textbook presentations did you find most interesting and why?
- The most thing that interested me is the missionary of church. At the beginning, I think the missionary of church just talk about Jesus and read some bible to reinforcement your beliefs. However, the definition from the book is to share the words of god to people who have not heard about God. Helping people who know the words of God to respond in faith. To be missionaries has the request, it is not everyone could be missionaries. For the missionaries, it must have courage to talk with people, the true faith of god and willing to contribute for God.

2. Which person whom you learned about from the Church History textbook presentations did you find most interesting and why?
- For the most interesting person that I am interested in is Martin Luther. Martin Luther is a great man who changed Christian forever. In 16 century he began to reformat the protestant. In 1517, Pope Leo X announced a new round of indulgences to help build Basilica. And then Martin Luther nailed the sheet of 95 theses on the door of the church which is a critique of the indulgences as a corruption of the faith of God ( Martin Luther Biography).

3. If you end up being known as an influential figure in history, what do you want to be remembered for?
- If I end up being known as an influential figure in history, I would like to be remembered for Esther is helping a lot of people, and let more people trust in god. I also want some to write me that Esther has some miracle things that god happened on myself and then let more people trust and believe god. I also want to be remembered that I am a nice person and good swimmer. Esther also does a lot of volunteers to help other poor and disabilities.

4. How have you personally experienced growth (either mentally, emotionally or spiritually) after your own challenges in life?
- After my own challenges, I grow a lot. For example, Before I came to America, I can do nothing, I cannot cook by myself and be independence. However, I came to America and Notre Dame I learned a lot. I know how to apply a school and do some VISA kinds of stuff. I know how to take care of myself without my parents. And those are physical things. I also have some mentally and emotionally things that were encouraged. After came to America without parent and friends, I feel alone at the beginning, but during this time I learned how to control my emotion and feeling.

Blog post # 10 3/10/2019

Could you ever see yourself sharing similar messages that your Letter Writer did on your own social media accounts? Why or why not? What would you say?
- I think I do not share similar messages that my Letter Writer did on my own social media accounts because my faith is not strong enough to say those words. My family is Christian so I grew up in the Christian family, but my faith is not strong as my father and mother. They read Bible every day, but I do not read it anymore so that I can not tell how Jesus or lord great. My Letter writer is paul who was talking about how he comfort those sufferings such as lash him or put him into the jail. I did not have those sufferings so I could not tell. Maybe sometimes I have some like the argue with friends or family. After the argue, I will pray to the Lord and ask for the forgiveness. Becuase I am not catholic, I do not praise mary. Sometimes I tell God the things that just happened today even he knew.

What were some new things that you learned from the Marian Apparition projects (be specific)?
- I learned that Marian is caring about others, she is still loving people who do not believe in god. For example, the lady of our Akita, she appears in the different ways to show her faith which represented God. She told sister Sawagadai that pray for the people who do not believe in god because those people are also her daughters and sons. She appears in a different way to different people who is in different countries. Marian is the virgin, she did what God asked, god told her to born the son of him named Jesus. She is also brave and grateful. I learned a lot from her. I know how to care about people even though we so no have any relationship, but I will still love them because we are both daughters and sons of Jesus. She teaches me how to care and love others, how to be brave and great.

How did you see resilience at work within the Marian apparition that you researched?
-For my project Our lady of Akita. There is a person who named sister of Sawagadai who is a deaf for many years. However, She has a very strong faith of Mary, Mary appeared in front of her as a wooden state. Mary cured her because she has a very strong faith. She prays to mary every time. She does not feel bad and be disappointed about her deaf, but she prays to mary and asks her to pray for her to the Lord and want to cured by the lord. However, Mary listened to the Sawagadai, she appears in front of her and cured her.

Do you see yourself as being resilient? Why or why not?
- I think I am because sometimes I have some argue with my friends and family. I need a good temper and self-control. Then I pray to the lord and asks him help, he did not respond me for a long time, but he gave me a chance to be patient. He gave me something to train me to be patient.  I feel so sad because my grandfather passed away, I feel so disappointed, but I pray to the lord and ask for help to let me calm down then there is a thinking that from my mind, which told me my grandfather is in heaven now and one day we will meet again. During the sadness, I pray to the lord, and lord finds my father and mother to let me calm down.

Blog post # 9 2/13/2017

1. In what ways did the people you learned about during this unit suffer? What was their reaction to their suffering?
- Those acts are talking about the gospels who was suffered through some ways. For example, some of them are in the prison and some of them are having the big storm. However, they all overcome them. They do not depend on themselves. They choose to trust god and let god guide them. From those suffering, they do not think about what they can do and they will save themselves. The only thing that they can do is to face to god and pray to him in order to save them.

2. Which story from the Acts of the Apostles did you find most inspiring and why?
- The story about the storm which is Acts 28:17-30. In this story, it talks about Paul and his crews were fishing on the sea. However, there is a big storm come towards them. Those crews were very upset and fearful, but paul told them to show your faith to god and god will save you. The storm represented the challenge about the faith of god. I get inspired from this acts, when you have trouble with something, you should not forget there is a god to protect you.

3. How have you experienced challenges in your own life and how have you dealt with them?
- Sometimes I face something challenge about friends, family, and grades. For example, I can not control my emotion very well so that there would be some struggles with my friends or family. After the argue with them I feel so upset because I do not want to lose one of my friends. So I started to pray to god and told him what happened, sometimes I would suddenly know how to apologize to them, maybe that is magic from god to me. For the next day,  I would find my friends and say sorry.

4. Who are people that you can turn to in times of need and why?
- My fathers, The one is my actual father, He was my protection, sometimes I would face something question and then I can ask him to find some solution for help. And the other one is God, our father, he did the same thing as my actual father, however, he is greater than my actual father, he can protect me every time, everywhere. He can do everything, but my actual father can not because he is only one in the world and he created us and everything.

1. What did you learn about the original disciples from the group project?
- Learned something about the original disciples. There are 12 disciples which including: John, Thomas, Andrew, James, Jude, Bartholomew, Matthew, Philip, Simon and Zealot. Those disciples are all had been changed of their names because of Jesus. Some of them are fisherman, some of them are Jesus's close friend. Some of them are the four gospels who write the old and new testament.

- I am very interesting in the disciple of John because he is notable for the one of the four gospels. He was a fisherman before Jesus called him. He also write other new testament about Jesus. 3. Based on what you learned, what are the characteristics of people who follow Christ?
- The characteristics of people who followed christ is some ordinary people. For example, For the disciple of Jesus are amount of fisherman or some other people who worked very hard. Jesus met them and told them some stuffs about Christ. Then they changed their whole life, they became missionaries to spread the knowledge about Jesus. For those people who believed and followed him are not want some political power and some other things like money. They are innocence because Jesus heals them. They are happy to help others, they act as jesus told them.

4. Do you feel that you display any of these characteristics? Why or why not?
- I think sometimes I can display of these characteristics, but sometimes I am not. For example, In the school I like to help others to solve some academic things and sometimes I act as a good friend to help my friend. I act as jesus said, "Serving others with love" However, I also have some bad habitat like I was very easily to irritate, I am not a good person to control my emotion.  people who followed Christ are nice, happy, and positive.
